On September 23, 2008, the Texas Library Association District II meeting will be held at the Southwest Branch of the Amarillo Public Library.  Dawn Vogler, Library Management Consultant with the Texas State Library and Archives Commission, will present a program on Early Childhood Literacy.  HLC will have a short business meeting.  This event is scheduled to begin at 9:00 AM and end at 3:30 PM.  The Early Literacy portion sponsored by Texas State Library and Archives Commission and Texas Panhandle Library System.
